NEW STUDENT INTAKE AT CEDAR COLLEGE

Cedar College of Education is growing as the Lord gives growth. At the end of the previous year, it was evident that the college will need to expand its premises as more and more students from various culture groups and countries apply to study at a Christian institution.

As it was the case in 2007, it is again a new record number of first year enrollments (with 2 more expected to arrive there will be 23 first year students). Students represent the following countries: Romania, France, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi, Sudan and various language and cultural groups from within our own boarders. It is truly the ‘rainbow college’ with already more than 10 different cultural groups in a specific year group! Two more students - from Malawi and Namibia respectively - are being expected to join the CCE student body should they manage to overcome some logistical barriers.

We acknowledge God’s hand in selecting all these students, as CCE does not actively recruit students, only by committing the matter to the Lord in prayer. We exist to carry out the mission of Christ in Higher Education and our prayer is that CCE’s future will be “as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day”. Prov 4:18
