ADMISSION
TO SOUTH AFRICA: VISA APPLICATION BY DELEGATES FROM COUNTRIES ABROAD
The South African
Missions abroad have been authorized by the South African Department of Home Affairs to
issue visas to delegates, on application, provided a letter of invitation and / or a name
list of persons appointed by organisations can be submitted. (Such letters can be
requested from us via e-mail address ministersconference@kwasizabantu.com
giving your full particulars.)
To gain admission to
South Africa, it is necessary to be in possession of valid passports and visas if persons
concerned are citizens of countries in respect of which visa control is applicable.
All applications for visas must be submitted to the nearest / most convenient South
African diplomatic or consular representative abroad, together with a fee of R425 (US$37)
per person in respect of countries whose passport holders are subject to visa fees.
The visa application and passport may be forwarded by courier services or mail or with the
assistance of a travel agent. Please note that ten (10) days are required to
process visas.
Persons subject to visa
control who arrive without visas at a South African port of entry will unfortunately not
be permitted to enter the RSA.
Immunisation for yellow
fever is an entry requirement if the journey starts or entails passing through the yellow
fever belt of Africa or South America. Visas will not be issued if this requirement
is not met.
