Home Based Carers 1 Educational materials suitable for both community volunteers (Home Based Carers) who learn to care for those dying at home from AIDS and their families have been written and printed by the Mission. Much of the finance for the printing of these materials was provided by a one-off donation by the British Consulate in Durban, for which we are very grateful. The training booklets are liberally illustrated, so are suitable for use by semiliterate people. The following picture shows some home based care trainees using the booklets.
