Saturday, 19 April, 19:00, The final part of the film "The Redeemer" was shown - Jesus resurrection from the dead.

Saturday, 19 April, 15:00, Rev Erlo Stegen took the afternoon service as well and preached from Matt 26:59 - 68. The high priest's robe is a magnificent symbolism of those who are on their way to heaven. His garment was completely white, revealing God's holiness and purity. The upper part was blue, a symbol of heaven, and the head piece was like a blossoming flower, showing the jubilant, fruit-bearing character of those who are washed and saved by Jesus Christ. However, to the high priest and his company who judged Jesus, all of this was just outward tokens. Their hearts were full of sin ... [more]

Friday ("Good Friday"), 18 April, 19:00, The first two parts of "The Redeemer" film was shown - Jesus' passion and crucifixion.

Friday ("Good Friday"), 18 April, 15:00, Rev Alpheus Mdlalose took the afternoon service from Matt 26:31 - 35. Peter saw all the miracles of Christ and experienced close fellowship with Him. He was convinced that He was indeed the Christ, and also confessed it, yet all his convictions helped him nothing in the test, and he failed miserably. Why? He did not watch and pray, and he started to follow Christ from afar. However, when he saw his sin and unfaithfulness, he repented thoroughly and had godly sorrow for his sin. So too must we come to Christ in honesty, with a sincere heart and godly sorrow, hiding nothing, if we want to find grace.
