TAS PRIZE GIVING 2000
Tabitha Adult School celebrated their 10th year and prize giving on Thursday 31 November 2000. Mr Hlela (from the Education Department Head Office) was the guest of honour. Of special interest was the presence of the Nkosi (chief) of a local tribe. Nkosi Zubane (and his brother and wives) has been an enthusiastic student of TAS. The function, attended by about 1,500 people, gave prizes in different categories, including Zulu First Language, English, German, Zulu Second Language and Computer Studies.
