True Love Waits

True Love Waits did a skit where the lives of two young people were contrasted - a
Christian and a worldling. The worldling flirted with the girls, watched porn, smoked, and
partied. The Christian on the other hand fled to God for safekeeping and kept his life
clean from sin. Both of them died and appeared before God, where the Books were opened and
the lives revealed. The Christian entered eternal bliss, while the worldling was fetched
by demons and carried to hell, together with his companions.

"Sexual immorality" - Joseph Chauke
Prov 23:26

God realise that the sin-problem comes from the heart, and therefore He makes this
invitation to us. In Ez 36:26 we read about God's promise that He will give us a new heart
and put a new spirit within us. He will remove the heart of stone and give us a heart of
flesh. There are those with a heart of stone who harden their hearts when God speaks to
them.
A person that sins and returns to his sin, is like a dog that vomits and returns to
lick it up (2 Pet 2:22). The Bible declares that a backslidden Christian is outside of
God's Kingdom. We read in Rev 22:15 & 16 that the dogs are outside of the Kingdom of
God.
The sin represented by a dog is sexual immorality. A dog neither marries nor is given
in marriage. It simply sleeps around and is immoral. Of sexual immorality God says in 1
Cor 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality. All other sins are outside of the body, but he who
sins sexually, sins against his own body." Nowadays sexual immorality is a respected
sin in the church. Ministers are afraid to speak out against it, especially amongst the
youth. This sin brings God's terrible wroth upon mankind. If you flirt around, AIDS does
not play around. It will destroy you speedily.
You need to flee to Jesus for safe-keeping. He is the only one that can keep you
completely pure. A certain minister's daughter was found to be a virgin at age 21 in a
location. The doctor was amazed, and asked the father and daughter how it is possible. She
answered that she had fled to Jesus, and He kept her.
Joseph in Egypt was kept in the same way. He was away from all his family, yet he
feared God. When this wicked woman tried to flirt with him, his reply was that he could
not do that wickedness and sin before God. He fled from her. Many Christians live only
before their leaders. Joseph was not of this hellish hypocritical kind.
If you are troubled with lust and the opposite sex, the problem lies with your heart.
Accept this invitation from God. Give Him your heart of sin and receive a new heart from
Him, else you will be destroyed.

God's promises are not empty. He gives practical wisdom, cleanliness, and purity. It is
evident in those that believe. Even where they stay it is neat and tidy, but with those
that do not know God it is also evident in their daily life. Their homes are often a mess
of dirt and rubbish.
Christianity is not cheap. If you want to buy an expensive car, you have to sweat in
order to get it. So too, Christianity is not cheap, but you have to go through the narrow
gate. The broad road to hell is easy. There you can dress as you like, speak as you like,
behave as you like, while on the narrow road it is like walking a tight-rope.
The story is told of a boy in Scotland who was quite dull. He could not pass his
grades, and when he became a young man, he just wandered around with a big sack as a
blanket. It would be his covering during the night against the cold and during the day
against the heat of the sun. After a while he began to pick up all manner of rubbish and
to put it into his bag. He would collect bones, rocks, torn clothing, etc. Wherever he
went he carried this burden. At times he would scramble through its contents and sigh to
God, "What have I done to deserve such a miserable life?" He could no longer use
his sack as a covering, because of its contents. He began to live in the mountains. Others
advised him to leave this sack of his, but he refused angrily, saying that it was his
life. Eventually, because of the constant weight, his body began to become frail and
diseased. Winter set in and made matters even worse. One dark night he got lost and found
himself in a swamp and sank into the mud. Afar off he could faintly see a light. He
struggled towards it, and eventually managed to get out of the swamp, covered with mud. He
knocked at the door and a very kind-hearted, well-dressed gentlemen opened the door. He
had great pity on him and invited him in just as he was. As he tried to enter, his sack
got stuck in the door. The man bade him leave it outside, but that he did not want to do.
He weighed matters up and eventually decided to stay outside in the dark with his sack.
The next morning he was found dead in the snow.
My brother was once asked how he could live without smoking, drinking and partying by a
nurse. The people of the world become bewitched, thinking that death is life. If you
refuse God's grace, you can follow your own way, but the consequences will be awful.
