Text: Prov 4:14
14 ¶ Enter not into the path of
the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
Perhaps you don't go in the wicked paths where everyone can see
it, but you do it in your thoughts. Do you walk in these evil ways?
God spoke to me one day while I was stealing from a rich man's
house. He warned me to turn away from those ways and I listened to Him.
You are invited to choose today as well. Come, and turn away from
the evil road.
I was very much against salvation, because I thought it hinders me
in my way. If it wasn't for the Gospel, I would be dead by now.
In Proverbs we also read, that there is a road that seems right in
one's eyes, but the end is death.
Where is your way bringing you? If you don't know how your road is
going to end, leave that road and come to the One who will give you life.
One lady from our area who was known for her pride and
self-importance, became very ill. When we preached, she gave herself to Christ completely
and repented from her sins.
This is still the good time to come to Christ for you too; forget
about your friends. God gives you the opportunity to repent.
Some of us don't have parents anymore, and live with our
grandparents. These days the grandparents have to bury their grandchildren. Without the
Gospel, the youth are dying. The word of God never fails to protect us. Sexual immorality
is the grave of the youth today. If you want to live, go away from that way. Don't go on
the path of the wicked. Don't do something, because your friends do it.
Now is the time. The time to know if you want to live for this
world and if you want to go to heaven or hell. Turn away from the way of the evil one and
come to the Lord. If your friend doesn't do it, leave him behind and turn to the Lord.
