"God our refuge"

The Lord's Protection

1Cor 10:13

In this text God promises His fortress protection against temptation. He will always ensure a way of escape.

In the famous hymn we read the words: Rock of ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy riven side which flowed
Be of sin the double cure,
Cleanse me from its guilt and power.

Be totally dedicated to Him. Seek the eternal reward and crown and don't fixate on temporal things here below.

Jesus Christ is the cleft in the rock and we can take refuge in Him.
