Funeral of Nkosi (Chief) Bhengu at Ntunjambili

On 14 September Rev Erlo Stegen and the Kwasizabantu choir were invited to the funeral of Nkosi (commonly known as Chief) Bhengu of the Ncgolosi tribe in the Ntunjambili area of Kranskop. Ahout 2000 or more people attended and it was a wonderful opportunity to bring the gospel to a grieving people. There were many invited dignitaries including members of parliament, chiefs, majors and many ministers of various denominations.

The theme for Erlo Stegen's message was taken from Amos 4:12 "Prepare to meet your God." To a responsive audience he preached about the necessity of dealing with all that seperates us from God for we will all stand in judgement before Him one day.
