Dr Peet Botha has been addressing a conference in Dallas
and a Bible School.
He presented a paper, "Homosexuality: A
Phenomenological Approach To Early Communities' Attitudes To Homosexuality." at the

(In a brief report from Peet and his wife, Andrea,
they said: Herewith 4 photos highlighting some aspects of the trip. We have had a
wonderful time with God's Bible School and College in Cincinnati. I had been able to do 2
devotions in the campus chapel and some lectures on sexuality and homosexuality. I also
sat in on discussion fgroups concerning missionary work, evangelism and situational
psychology.
We have had a wonderful reception at the GBS
(http://www.gbs.edu) and the people have treated us with love and utmost respect. What a
wonderful place to visit. I've also been able to preach at two congregations at the
Cincinnati area and the message was well received.
Currently we are at the conference of the National Association
for Research and Treatment of Homosexuals. My lecture on The sosio-historical background
of Homosexuality for the period 3000BC to 325 AD was very well received by all
(psychologists and psychatrists and others) present at the lecture. We have had wonderful
training on gays and their families reparative therapy and just general principles for
helping people with SSA tendancies. We had been able to listen to the lecture of a person
who grew up in a homosexual home describing all that had happened to her and the impact
her father and his lovers lifestyle had on her life, and how she struggled to overcome the
setbacks in her life.
Monday, DV, we leave for Tulsa where John will join us on the
4th of November.

John Powys has been extremely busy with various outreaches,
including Malawi, Attridgeville, the Eurochoir in Empumalanga (including the KSB mission
station at Malelane), and he flies today (3 November 2007), to link up with the Bothas in
Oklahoma. They will be ministering in various churches for the next 3 weeks.
