| Latest letter report from USA (14 April 2003)
Our display at the conference at Penn View Bible
Institute - 08/04/2003 - 10/04/2003
Gideon speaking at the conference
Xoliswa translating for Philip Geise, who
is a missionary in Lesotho. He graduated from Penn View Bible Institute.
He spoke in Sotho.
13/04/2003 The church in
Philadelphia, we spoke in the morning and evening service.
Carel & Sharlene, Pastor & Mrs Haffling
& Tabitha. We spent two nights with this couple - it was a blessed
time.
We are thankful to the Lord for His help and
guidance. We attended the conference at Penn View Bible Institute, from
Tuesday to Thursday. On Friday we visited a school and there we directed
the message to the children. Afterwards we had lunch with Mr Hostetter & his
wife - what a spread. Later that afternoon we went to the Hornings, a family
Gideon and Carel had visited the last time they were in USA. They treated
us to a meal and there the Lord opened the door. Carel & Sharlene were able to
share how the Lord led them to get married, the son was deeply touch. For the Americans
dating is important, so this way is truly an eye opener to them. That evening we
went to a farmers market, there Gideon met old friends - an Armish family. Once
more we had a blessed time. We stand amazed at how the Lord has opened
many doors. Saturday 12/04/2003, we travelled to a suburb near
Philadelphia and there we spent time with Pastor Haffling & his wife and had
two meetings in their church. Tomorrow we start our long journey to Florida,
about 24 hours drive. We will travel through the night - we trust the Lord for
a safe journey. The weather has now changed, no more snow, now beautiful
sunshine. The food is so good and plentiful, sometimes we feel over inflated,
but we are learning that the dessert will follow!
Please pray for us, that God will continue to
work!
Greetings to all, you are all in our thoughts!
Gideon, Tabitha, Xoliswa, Carel &
Sharlene.
