Tour to the USA
   
Update on 20 November 2000: The team have safely arrived back from the
USA. John returned the previous
weekend because of a wedding where he had to be the master of ceremonies. Dr Albu van
Eeden and Ds Peet Botha arrived last week and gave
a report back on Sunday morning. Most of the preaching was in Russian Baptist Churches,
although other denominations also
opened their doors. In the Russian churches all three in the team were expected to preach
in every service and the meetings were sometimes 3 or 4 hours long.
There were wonderful reports of new conversions, repentance and reconciliation.
The team members are John Powys, Albu van Eeden and Peet Botha.
God willing, the tour will proceed as follows:
- We arrive in Tulsa Oklahoma on the 31st October
- Services will be held in Tulsa from the 1st to the 6th of November
- We then fly from Tulsa to Denver on the 7th of November
- Services will be held in Denver from 8 - 12 November
- John return to South Africa on the 10th and arrive the 11th
- Albu and Peet return the 13th and arrive the 14th
