Groups visiting KSB last week September
A large group of young people (127) has been visiting Kwasizabantu
from 22 27 September. The youth group from `Rivers of Living Waters Ministries
in the Vaal Triangle, is under the leadership of Bishop Stephan Zondo.
For photos of them and the other groups, go here.
Their aim (Rivers of Living Waters Ministries) has been to see the
mission projects, including the agricultural side of the mission. The revival history has
also been a highlight for them. Comments from the young people (ranging from 13 to 25
years of age) include:
"Its like being in the book of Acts"
"Seeing the sea for the first time in my life was fantastic
but if I came back to KwaZulu-Natal again it would be for the mission again."
"We would like our mothers in the church to come and visit
this place."
"What we learn here we must take back to our people back at
home."
The group also had the opportunity to receive important
information about HIV/Aids from Doctors for Life. Heinrich Botes and a lady who is HIV
positive, Lydia Myeni, addressed the young people.
Other groups from various schools and church youth groups were
also visiting Kwasizabantu during the Gauteng school holidays.
