Youth Conference 6 - 13 July 2001

Conference theme: WOULD YOU BE MADE WHOLE?

This is the 27th year of Kwasizabantu Youth Conferences. We praise God for another opportunity to reach young people with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The first group of children, teens and young adults, has arrived on Wednesday 4 July from the Nelspruit area. Approximately 600 children are here even though the Youth Conference only gets underway officially on Friday evening. At least a thousand or more are expected tomorrow.

We expect at least 6,000 to attend the week's services and there is an enormous amount of preparation work necessary. The accommodation and food is always the most important part of the many different aspects involved in caring for the needs of such a huge crowd.

The preaching will be shared by Rev Stegen and possibly Pastor Chauke of Pretoria. There will also be other services taken by co-workers and other organisations.
