Luke 2:8-20

The uneducated shepherds were the first to be lead to the Christ-child. They were simple people. Educated and learned people often doubt when God works miraculously. If you are highly educated, ask God to give you child-like faith.

The shepherds were daily alone out in the field, tending their flock. That is also where God met them. We should spend time alone with God in our inner-chamber. That is where God will also meet with us.

When the angel came and told them the glad tidings, they were greatly afraid. Yet they obeyed immediately and went to see the Child. If you haven't met this Child personally, then you need to do so today. Do not put if off for another day, when God speaks to you.
