It is important for every parent to remember that God often visits the sins of the parents on the children - to the third and fourth generation. Even your selfishness and greed you pass on to your children and they suffer because of you. Turn therefore completely in all sincerity from all sin. It might not trouble you now, but one day it will be revealed and it will be terrible.
But to those who love God, He blesses to the thousand's generation.

A certain newly-born baby simply did not stop crying and the doctor could not find the problem. Eventually he called for a specialist, but still they failed to diagnose the problem. Eventually one of the doctors had an idea, and he took a cigarette and blew the smoke into the face of the child. Immediately the crying stopped. His mother smoked and the child suffered from nicotine-withdrawal symptoms.

Maybe you don't get victory over sin even after confession. In your confession be thorough and truthful and don't let any root remain. Be ruthless with sin in your life. Even on the cross Jesus looked after His mother and gave her into the care of John (His cousin traditionally).

Don't ignore your family responsibilities. Parents have certain responsibilities they must fulfill towards their children. If you cannot lead your children you cannot lead the church. Jesus did not shun His earthly responsibilities. His flesh was like ours, but His blood was divine. (Medically it is a fact that a child does not get any blood from the mother.) That is why we call His blood the ' precious Blood '.
If you as a child do not take care of your elderly parents, you're worse than the heathen. Jesus rebuked the pharisees sharply for neglecting their parents, and then excusing themselves by saying that they're supporting the church. If you deal in the same way with your parents, you're part of the pharisees.

But the spiritual family is of greatest importance. It's a small matter to be physically one in marriage, but to be spiritually one is important. Ananias and Sapphira were one, but it was unity from hell; they were spiritually dead. So too were Herodias and her daughter.

Parents, do not be derailed by godless children, who go the way of the world. Even Jesus said that there will be divisions in homes, because of Him. Do not let them live their life of sin under your roof.

The Bible commands children to honour their parents, even if they're godless. But your Father in Heaven you must obey at all cost. Don't obey your earthly father at all cost when he tells you something wrong, but obey your Heavenly Father at all cost.

Eph 3:14-15, "For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named"

If you're born again, you're part of the best family that exist - the Heavenly family!

In Matt 12, when Jesus was told, ' here are your brothers, sisters and mother ', He answered, ' who is my mother? and who are my brothers? They who do the will of my Father which is in heaven '.
In spite of the fact that Jesus cared for family and honoured His earthly parents, yet His spiritual family meant more to Him.
What is more precious to you? Your earthly or Heavenly family? Those of God's family or your blood-relations?

It's awful when parents assume their children are born from above, while those children live in sin, have secret relationships via their cellphones or otherwise. The devil is the father of such a child and their staying in your house means nothing - they are not part of you.

People who isolate themselves from the coming together of God's children in the church, cut themselves off from God's work and power in their lives. If you have no hunger to be present with God's family, you're spiritually dead.

Be one with those of the Heavenly, spiritual family.
May the love of God be poured out in your life, that you love what He loves and hate what He hates.
Every woman who cannot bear children feels something. Much more should it touch you if you cannot bear spiritual children; you should cry to God to make you fruitful.
