Titus 2:7, "in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility"
1Tim 4:12, "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity"

The Bible teaches us all to be a godly example. In this case, the emphasis is on young people. Young people, who follow Christ, should set the pace for others.

One of satan's names is `diabolus', meaning the one who mixes things up and confuses things. He confuses young people and brings the wrong message about marriage.  We need young people who know God and put things in the right order. They must be an example in the way they conduct themselves, how they speak, and behave, "in all purity". Their whole character needs to reflect Christ.

The pornography industry destroys many young people, especially via the Internet. Their lives are poisened by the filth they see, and they become weak and can no longer be an example. Their whole outlook becomes distorted and promiscuous.

However, in the midst of the confusion in the world, let us be an influence of godliness bringing life to those all around us.
